THE EFFECT OF INCREASING TAXES AND INSURANCE ON HOMEOWNERS
As the homeowner pays over $30,000 for a car and over $350,000
for a house, when insurance rates and taxes double bankruptcy
is just around the corner.
The average homeowner is struggling
to pay for his home, house insurance, taxes, prescription
drugs, and car insurance just to name a few. All of these
have skyrocketed as insurance companies and taxes are increasing
at an alarming rate. Is it possible that they will kill the
goose that layed the golden egg? House foreclosures will continue
to climb, and gas prices are unpredictable, insurance companies
are increasing prices and at the same time decreasing coverage.
The time has come where we have only two classes of people.
The wealthy, and the poor. There is no middle class. Most
of the people asked for it by getting over their heads in
debt. Everyone thinks they are entitled to a half million
dollar house, two Mercedes cars, a 50 foot yacht, and a lifestyle
of luxury. God bless the credit card. This cannot last. Credit
card debt is at an all time high. Perhaps a recession might
set everyone back to reality.
Many large companies with
the backing of our government have moved to other countries.
With the entire company gone the employees are left to be
laid off. The outsourcing of our jobs can only be blamed on
our unions. Do you really think a company will continue paying
27 dollars an hour with full health benefits and retirement
pay when they can get the job done for 7 dollars an hour and
no benefits? Laid off employees will struggle to find a job
of any kind. Our government manipulates the unemployment figures
to look great. It doesn’t take a brain surgeon to figure
out that a rude awakening lies just ahead. Millions of Americans
are now looking for jobs and finding them only at Wal-Mart
or McDonalds. After their benefits run out these people are
not considered unemployed. Most of our merchandise comes from
China, India, and other developing nations. Our national deficit
continues to increase every year. During WWII hundreds of
thousands of hard working Americans produced quality items.
Their devoted ability to the war effort and the will to win
was the deciding point in our victory. Now most of the factories
are closed as everything we need comes from China.
